Foundation design for local preservation wall of historic conservation building in soft soil area

Abstract: The local wall of some historical build:ing in soft soil area has been preserved and used as the exterior wall of the new building. Considering the basements of the adjacent new buildings are arranged, the integral conceptual design and calculation analysis of construction have been carried out for the safety of the local preservation wall in the phase of foundation pit construction. This paper presents the detail measures and methods to strengthen the wall foundation and be used as reference for the corresponding engineering.
